State Senator Bill Beagle Tours Rehab Homes in 5th District

On Thursday, July 21, the Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce held an After Hours event hosted by CountyCorp. The event was held at the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) model home at 5870 Beth in Huber Heights, Ohio. Senator Beagle joined Chamber members, staff from CountyCorp, Huber Heights City Council members, and Michael Fulcher, field representative for Congressman John Boehner for the event.
Adam Blake, Housing Development Manager for CountyCorp, gave a brief presentation on the NSP program and how it is creating and retaining jobs, encouraging economic development and stabilizing home values in Montgomery County. “This bipartisan program which began under the Bush administration and has been continued by the Obama administration, is focused on preserving property values in areas hardest hit by the foreclosure crisis”.
CountyCorp has purchased 38 homes in Huber Heights and Trotwood and has sold 9 of the finished homes to date.
